Andrew Dice Clay

Profane Brooklyn-born comic Andrew Dice Clay is as raunchy today as he was when he was banned from MTV in 1989 and played sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden in 1991. The Diceman has been steadily clawing his way back into the limelight and reviving his comedy career, starting with the 2007 VH1 reality series Dice: Undisputed, and more successfully, impromptu riffing of new material onstage at 2008’s Pollstar Awards. Most recently, Clay earned the high honor of being cast in the final season of Entourage, but he’s still making time for a stand-up tour. Sure, his dirty nursery rhymes, cartoonish chain-smoking character, and studded leather jackets are dated, but sheer spectacle never grows old.
