Articles Of Faith
No one stays broken up anymore, not even bands that existed for a scant four years and called it quits when Back To The Future was storming box offices. Such is the case for Articles Of Faith, one of the most notable bands of the early ’80s hardcore scene. The group hailed from Chicago, but drew much of its inspiration from D.C., where the nascent post-hardcore scene was moving past loud-fast-angry and into incorporating elements of jazz and funk. After 25 years away, frontman Vic Bondi has reunited the group for a new EP to be released by Alternative Tentacles, the label run by Jello Biafra, that also released two Articles Of Faith anthologies.
