Artist Barbara Lynn
Active since the early '60s, Barbara Lynn is a Texas-born blues and soul artist who remains a deftly emotive singer, guitarist, and songwriter. She found major chart success with her 1962 hit “You’ll Lose A Good Thing,” and The Rolling Stones even covered her song “Oh Baby (We Got A Good Thing Goin’)” in 1965. Lynn is still very much a formidable presence onstage, with a sultry but controlled vocal style that floats nicely next to lilting R&B guitar.
