Big Business

L.A. metal machine Big Business has always aspired to something resembling the Melvins’ mix of heaviness and whimsy—which made it a no-brainer decision for Big Business core members Jared Warren and Coady Willis to join the ranks of their sludgy forefathers in the middle of the last decade. When not recording or touring with King Buzzo and co., Warren and Willis have kept active with Big Business, adding guitarist Toshi Kasai for the Phil Ek-produced 2009 effort, Mind The Drift. This fall, the band further thickened its stoner haze by welcoming 400 Blows’ Scott Martin into the fold.
