Big Sean
Kanye West might have signed Big Sean to G.O.O.D. Music because he was impressed by the kid’s hustle, but there’s a good chance West also saw a bit of himself reflected in Sean’s easygoing flow and self-conscious rhymes. Either way, the Detroit MC has benefitted hugely from his association with the Louis Vuitton Don, scoring a Hype Williams-directed video for the single “Getcha Some” (featuring West, natch), while the likes of Drake, Mike Posner, and Bun B guested on his Finally Famous mix-tape series. Those mix-tapes built toward a proper Finally Famous LP, which was aided by first single “My Last,” featuring commercially viable pariah Chris Brown.
