Artist Birdemic: Shock And Terror

The rare cult film that came with the cult built right in, Birdemic: Shock And Terror arrived in 2010 to the ironic hosannas of the L.A. comedy vanguard. Following its release on Blu-ray and DVD, the incomprehensible, Hitchcock-influenced (down to the Tippi Hedren cameo) “romantic thriller” is set to find further devotees, with seemingly naïve writer-director James Nguyen encouraging fans to host their own “Birdemic Fest,” which boils down to watching the movie while drinking a bunch of beer.
