Artist Blah Blah Blah

Blah Blah Blah bills itself as a “British-style indie rock” quartet, despite its members not being—shocker—actually British. The Chicago band’s dreamy, melodic, and optimistic debut EP Charm is anchored by its catchy, upbeat single “Why Am I The Only One Laughing.” The tracks are heavy on toe-tapping beats combined, to interesting effect, with smooth vocals that almost seem part of a bygone era, best exemplified in tracks like “Give Me Some Money” and “Had A Run.” Despite being relatively young and newly formed, Blah Blah Blah has some good buzz behind it. The Chicago Tribune included the band on its 2010 list of 10 “Local bands on the verge of breaking big-time.”
