Blowfly

Dressed in a handmade super-villain costume that recalls both Parliament and Santo the Mexican wrestler, Blowfly leers and sleazes his way through X-rated parodies like “Stick It Down Your Throat Bitch” (to the tune of “Hit Me With Your Best Shot”) and “Fucked With A Dildo” (Rocket From The Crypt’s “Middle”). He signed with Jello Biafra’s Alternative Tentacles a few years ago, releasing Fahrenheit 69 (featuring Atmosphere’s Slug, and presumably not officially approved by Ray Bradbury) and 2006’s Punk Rock Party (featuring Biafra). He’s in his 60s now, but age can only enhance the dirty-old-man quality of his music—especially during this decade, in which he is, of course, a sexagenarian.
