Bob Saget

As a shock-value comic, Bob Saget wouldn’t be nearly as interesting without the contrast of his family-friendly TV persona to balance him out. Being the dad from Full House ranting in expletives and calling people pussies is the dichotomy that Saget thrives on, and it’s one that he plays up onstage to the point of self-caricature. But at least he’s aware enough to acknowledge it with a joke: “I did so much family television,” he remarks on his 2007 HBO special That Ain’t Right, “I have Tourette’s now—fuck, shit, cock!” Saget returned to television in 2010 with the short-lived A&E series Strange Days, a docu-style reality show that had him traversing America in search of unique and strange subcultures.
