Boys Noize

Boys Noize is a Berlin dance-music producer who likes things grizzled and fried. There’s a certain allegiance to the kind of aggro-rock lean of acts like Justice and others on the label Ed Banger, but Boys Noize knows a little more in the way of subtlety. The 2007 album Oi Oi Oi made good on its title, for better and worse, and Boys Noize showed a rangey ear on a mix-disc called I Love Techno 2008. Since his last album, 2009’s Power, he’s kept busy with a few singles and remixes for everyone from Scissor Sisters to David Lynch.
