Broken Lizard

Broken Lizard, the comedy troupe behind movies like Super Troopers, Club Dread, and Beerfest, has handed out diminishing returns with each successive outing. Beerfest, in particular, received more than its fair share of harsh criticism, most of which dismissed it as a “drunken frat-boy romp.” Well, hmm—so it goes for a film called Beerfest. To be sure, Broken Lizard embraces its silly side, and the results speak for themselves. Its latest film, The Slammin' Salmon, is about waiters at a restaurant in Miami who compete to earn the most money in one night. Live, bank on lots of sketch stuff and lots of weirdness.
