It was a relatively quiet 2009 for prairie-rock psychedelics Brothers And Sisters, as the craze for Gram Parsons-inspired country that the band helped launch blossomed all around it—and Brothers And Sisters itself retreated to the upbeat, California dreamin’ pop of 2008’s Fortunately. Since Mackenzie Phillips ruined The Mamas And The Papas for everyone, here’s hoping Brothers And Sisters find a way to make 2010 safely hummable.
