People who remember early ’90s pop culture know Bryan Adams from “Everything I Do (I Do It For You),” the signature track for the Kevin Costner blockbuster Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves, a moment that seemed to predict those two stars would remain in the spotlight for years to come. While Adams has subsequently dropped off the charts, he’s kept busy, focusing on both a photography career that’s landed him in multiple fashion magazines and on philanthropy, playing frequently to raise money for education worldwide. Music-wise, he’s still churning out soft rock akin to “Summer Of ’69,” proving on 2008’s 11 that he still has the same solid voice and simple pop sensibilities that tore up the charts in 1991.
