Artist Buffalo

Rainy-day hip-hop duo Buffalo began because local musician and label head Nicholas Sanborn (Decibully, Listening Party Records) desperately wanted to collaborate with rapper Lunaversol 9 of Def Harmonic. Sanborn created some evocative bedroom pop instrumentals with Lunaversol in mind, she was inspired to add vocals, and Buffalo started to take shape. The partnership has been relatively low-key over the past few years, though Buffalo hopes to kick it up a notch by putting out a record this winter.
