Bunk

Premièring this summer on IFC, Bunk is a game-show parody hosted by longtime New York comedy fixture Kurt Braunohler, of weekly variety show Hot Tub with partner-in-comedy Kristen Schaal. Formerly known as Pointless, Bunkoriginated as an entry in the New York Television Festival—the first such TV series to hold such a distinction—and will join IFC’s already heavy-hitting original comedy slate. While the premise and rules of Bunk are unclear, that’s sort of the point:Bunk is an “irreverent, improvised anti-game show,” a tenuous definition that should lend itself well to Braunohler’s comedic style.
