Buzzcocks
Formed in 1975, the Manchester-bred Buzzcocks wrote thrashing punk anthems that also courted pop’s catchy, concise pleasures. The results were unduly snappy and smart—so much so that Buzzcocks stand as one of very few first-wave punk bands to have aged reasonably well. Here, the group antes the ever-growing trend of playing a classic album in its entirety, showcasing their 1978 albums Another Music In A Different Kitchen and Love Bites.
