Cedric The Entertainer

After Cedric The Entertainer spent some time as a Broadway actor (for David Mamet’s American Buffalo) and inexplicable WWE grappler, it was inevitable that the veteran comedian and member of Spike Lee’s Original Kings Of Comedy troupe would return to stand-up. And who better to team up with than the king of everything else, Shaquille O’Neal, who co-hosted Cedric’s latest special, The All-Star Comedy Jam, taped live from 2009’s NBA All-Star weekend. Cedric’s in his element when pacing the stage in a slick hat and comfortably spouting out jokes, but he returns to the big and small screens in a pair of recent credits: the Tom Hanks vehicle Larry Crowne and the NBC game show It’s Worth What?
