Artist Chances Dances

In a ploy to escape the intimidating, frivolous Boystown bar scene, Bruce Wiest and Latham Zearfoss set up Chances Dances, an easygoing, traveling LGBTIQ dance party. The two pair the standard Lady Gaga remixes with a wider selection of dance-worthy tracks that venture into the territories of hip-hop, rock, and experimental—because seriously, not everyone in the LGBTIQ community likes the same pop music. The much-praised party gets tossed around to non-gay, but gay-friendly bars around the city, like Subterranean and The Hideout, in hopes to convey an air of inclusivity while also keeping everyone’s budget in check. It might be less showy in nature than Sidetrack, but guests are still free to take their pants off whenever they please.
