Cheap Trick
Cheap Trick has been playing practically nonstop for almost 40 years, and though it's never managed to regain the arena-filling heights of yore, its enthusiasm remains unchecked. While some may lump it in with the "county fairs and casinos" circuit from a distance, the group still has a fun, uplifting air about it. Cheap Trick’s work ethic and punk roots helped it escape the hair-metal purgatory brought on by the unfairly maligned hit power ballad “The Flame,” and its current audience includes fans both old and new. While the band's shows mostly focus on the hits, 2009’s The Latest showed that Cheap Trick still has some creative juice left.
