Cheech And Chong

That their surprise reunion has less to do with creative reinvigoration and more to do with realizing that, hey man, we’re all gonna die some day (bummer) probably isn’t lost on Cheech And Chong, who recently put aside nearly two decades’ worth of very bad feelings to relive their Nice Dreams heyday. But that doesn’t necessarily make the sight of guys sucking on the roach of decades-old pothead jokes any funnier. (Unless, you know, you’re high, in which case….) The duo have talked in interviews about the way that films like Pineapple Express have made stoners zeitgeist-y again, which means it’s time to bust out “Dave’s Not Here” for a new generation—an animated feature is set for release later this year. Hooray?
