Chip Davis' Christmas Music Of Mannheim Steamroller

What’s been said about Mannheim Steamroller that hasn’t already been said about your average Third World war-zone? All (somewhat) kidding aside, this New Age juggernaut—which has somehow sold a staggering 28 million records worldwide—is one of the biggest modern practitioners of Christmas music, with 10 holiday albums dating back to 1984 in its catalog (several of which are condensed into this year's two-disc Christmas: 25th Anniversary Collection). Group founder Chip Davis also hosts the annual 12-hour syndicated radio show Mannheim Steamroller’s An American Christmas, which makes sitting through a relatively succinct 90-minute concert seem almost enticing by comparison.
