Chris Connelly
Ministry and Revolting Cocks member Chris Connelly released his 12th studio album, How This Ends, last year. Made up of two half-hour tracks that defy convention, the record’s experimental nature should come as no great surprise for fans of Connelly’s boundary-pushing career. The prolific musician has authored three novels, including a thriller released last year, and acts as manager of local music haven Reckless Records in Bucktown. On top of all that, he debuted a new band, The High Confessions, last year along with fellow rock royalty bandmates from Sonic Youth and Minsk. 20 years on in his career, the air’s still filled with Connelly productions, making him one of the rare prolific artists who focuses more on words than sound.
