In real life, Christopher Titus’ edgy, dark sense of humor extends far beyond the limits of the contrived Fox sitcom that bore his last name—even though that show was based closely on his own life. The comedian’s favorite topics include rape, suicide, violence, insanity, and abuse—and that’s just when he’s talking about his family. Since he became a stand-up comedian at the tender age of 18, Titus brings all that baggage (and more!) to the stage. In his 2011 one-man show, Neverlution, Titus carries the baggage of society at large, using his personal experiences to argue for a revolution that will never come because that society—himself included—is too complacent.
