Artist Claude VonStroke

Claude VonStroke is the San Francisco founder of two of electronic music’s better new labels, Dirtybird and Mothership (the latter of which gives money to a children’s music school in his hometown of Detroit). VonStroke specializes in shingle-splitting ghettotech, as heard on his 2006 sleeper debut album, Beware Of The Bird, and his DJ sets are known for pulsing, seizure-inducing good times. (Maybe not literal seizures, but you never know.)
