Artist Clerks
Kevin Smith’s reign as King Of Pop-Culture Geeks is a result of his involvement in a myriad of media, from comic books to action figures, but it all started with 1994’s Clerks, his ultra-low-budget black-and-white debut. Funny, unapologetically raunchy, and alternately brilliant and stupid, Clerks’ look at the minimum-wage proto-slacker lifestyle is too genuine not to be (at least partially) autobiographical.
