Cokie The Clown

The cover of NOFX’s 2009 EP Cokie The Clown featured a disturbing portrait of bassist-vocalist "Fat Mike" Burkett decked out in blue hair and clown make-up like Krusty The Clown’s psychotic nephew. Considering NOFX passed its prime ages ago but still goes through the motions, the Krusty comparison is apt, so it’s perhaps not surprising that Burkett has decided to perform as Cokie The Clown. What will that entail? Details are sketchy, but expect some stand-up, sad songs played on an acoustic guitar, and Burkett’s unnervingly Gacy-esque visage haunting your dreams.
