Company Flow

The days when complex hip-hop lyrics existed and weren’t drowned out by sirens may not be extinct. Influential hip-hop group Company Flow slept on its two LPs long enough. Now, the members have come back together out of the woodwork, opening up the potential for a return to the studio after a 13-year absence from recording. When Company Flow first hit the scene, its quiet tracks and deliriously delivered vocals confused many. The group was originally perceived as weird for putting so much time and effort into its vocals, but critics quickly saw the light, and now the group is revered as a trailblazer of modern hip-hop.
