Cro-Mags

Cro-Mags began their long and tumultuous career in 1984 as a New York punk-thrash band, eventually becoming associated with the Hare Krishna crew that built up around the city’s hardcore scene in the ’80s. Since then, the group has undergone numerous lineup and personality changes, not to mention a foray into hard rock in the late ’80s. The Cro-Mags have been sporadically active in the new millennium—sometimes in two different, but concurrent, incarnations—but the band’s sound boasts enough intensity to make this a heavy show regardless of which lineup plays.
