Crookers
Crookers are the Italian duo of Phra and Bot. Together, they produce a weird, unhinged take on dance music that fuses elements of hip-hop, fidget, and other genres into one eclectic, mind-warping mix. The twosome is inordinately fond of collaborations and remixes, and the duo has worked with and on everyone from Miike Snow and Kid Cudi to U2 and will.i.am. Despite the schizophrenic range of influences and elements in Crookers’ music, there’s a well-defined and thoroughly unique aesthetic on display here.
