Daniel Tosh
It’s easy to know when Daniel Tosh is joking: He often numbers his jokes for the audience, or clarifies that he is making shit up about himself for the purpose of telling the joke, or that he didn’t bother to segue between his jokes because they don’t really have anything in common. Such extreme comic self-awareness makes it easy to get through his weakest material, which thankfully appears infrequently. That same ADD-level attention span carried over to Tosh’s popular Comedy Central series Tosh.0, which gives the performer a platform from which to sarcastically comment on whatever video phlegm the Internet coughs up in a given week, while also offering “Web Redemption” to some of YouTube’s most unfortunate, unintentional stars.
