Artist Danielle Ate The Sandwich

If all you knew about Danielle Anderson’s music was gleaned from her mega-popular YouTube videos, you’d think the singer-songwriter is nothing but an attention-grubbing ham. She is, but she’s also a heck of a musician, though you’ll have to wade through her gimmicky online attempts to look like a cutesy dork even to get a glimpse of her music, which is neither dorky nor gimmicky. Her most recent album, 2010’s Two Bedroom Apartment, puts her disarmingly sweet vocals at the front of the mix, with light percussion and guitar (or ukulele) as the primary accompaniment for songs like the self-titled track and “Where The Good Ones Go.”
