Daryl Hall And John Oates

Daryl Hall And John Oates wisely reunited a few years back, and while Oates has since split with his signature mustache, the duo still has plenty to offer fans and Behind The Music alike. Ubiquitous to this day, Hall and Oates’ singles have dominated airwaves for so long that merely to think of their song titles ("Private Eyes," "Man Eater") is to mentally start singing along—hence the inclusion of "You Make My Dreams" as the soundtrack to the spontaneous song-and-dance sequence in (500) Days Of Summer. There’s a certain cachet that has taken root among them, too: How many other white pop crooners, from the ’80s or otherwise, have accrued such respect within the lineage of R&B?
