Austin’s David Garza has drawn a lot of comparisons—to Prince, mostly, for his effortless rifling through slinky R&B, Latin fuego, and even noir-ish new wave. Garza’s latest, last year’s Dream Delay, features cameos from both Ministry’s Al Jourgensen and Fiona Apple, which hints at its all-encompassing sonic restlessness.
