San Francisco’s Dead To Me picks up where punk rock left off decades ago—long before the music and its premise were watered down by subgenres and haircuts—when it was brutal, thought-provoking, and misunderstood. With its first two full-length albums, the band has staked out a place in modern times with its crisp basslines, impeccable timing, and a sense of responsibility for the larger world.
