Dean And Britta

Is there a scene in a rock movie hotter than the one in Tell Me Do You Miss Me where Dean Wareham and Britta Phillips walk around their apartment in their underwear while getting dressed for a show? (The answer, for the record, is no.) That documentary put a stirring cap on the beloved career of Luna, but Dean And Britta have stayed busy making songs that wouldn’t sound out of place on Luna albums. Their latest project was writing music to go on a DVD of Andy Warhol’s “Screen Tests” series, but expect a set more songful and urbane here.
