Dietrich Gosser

After, in his own words, abandoning his musical career, Dietrich Gosser returned to Madison to restart. Much of the success that Gosser enjoyed before could be attributed to his ornate songcraft, typified by 2008’s What The Buzzsaw Sings and 2010’s The Man Who Invented Gold, but a good chunk of the credit must go to his longtime collaborator and drummer, Dan Kuemmel, who Gosser has begun to play with again. A busy July and a residency at Mickey’s sees Gosser making good on his promise to get back into things, and hopefully the rest of 2012 sees him and Kuemmel making more compelling music like Buzzsaw.
