Dikes Of Holland

Just as it’s not common knowledge that the dikes of Holland (constructed in the ’50s) may be the world’s safest levee system, the Dikes Of Holland (constructed 60 or so years later) are one of Austin’s more exciting garage/punk acts, but their charms known to just a select few. A flimsy comparison? Fine, but we’re going to go on to say that while the dikes are reliable and safe, the Dikes are anything but. Wild and untethered, their self-titled debut out last year is a volume-peaking set of catchy singalong thrills baked in amp feedback and dual vocals shouted down a hallway.
