Dimitri's Ascent
Dimitri’s Ascent exists at some weird nexus of electronica, jazz, and jam: driving bass, drum loops, live drums, meandering guitar solos, 15-minute songs, ambient keyboards, and wild light shows. It’s the kind of thing that fans of STS9 and similar jam/dance outfits should enjoy, especially if they’re riding a nice buzz from some mix of MDMA, magic mushrooms, and pot brownies. Most everyone else is going to be pretty bored.
