Doug Benson
Doug Benson is as good a model for marijuana legalization as any. The star of Super High Me and proud past High Times “Stoner Of The Year” honoree released his fourth album in four years in 2011—Potty Mouth—while his weekly podcast,Doug Loves Movies, swiftly became one of the Internet’s most entertaining outlets for informal film discussion. Of course, Benson’s bleary-eyed followers would still rather hear him riff on weed and McGriddles, and Potty Mouth follows through on that, maintaining a delicate balance of effortless delivery and sharply constructed routines that’ll make you wonder whether there’s any actual pot in that vaporizer of which he’s so fond. Benson recently filmed another movie riffing on a Morgan Spurlock documentary, titled The Greatest Movie Ever Rolled.
