Eagle Twin

It would be easy to, at first glance, write Eagle Twin off as a two-man metal battalion beholden to either Big Business or Om. In reality, though, Eagle Twin fits almost exactly between those two influences: The Utah duo’s droning heaviness is neither as abstract as Om’s nor as gloriously cartoonish as that of Big Business, but instead throbs and growls without lapsing into either. Then again, Eagle Twin isn’t new at the heavy-music game; frontman Gentry Densley once led Iceburn, one of the unsung innovators of hardcore and metal in the ’90s.
