Ear Pwr
Though originally from North Carolina, Ear Pwr has assimilated itself pretty well into Baltimore’s quirky synth-pop scene. This is the city, after all, that gave start to the likes of Dan Deacon and The Death Set, a city of art-school kids beating on pawnshop synthesizers and cheap drum machines. It was an easy move to the North for Ear Pwr, whose latest, Super Animal Brothers III, is a foot-stomping dance record for party-punkers and those who prefer their vocals processed through megaphones instead of mics.
