Endless Boogie

For every action there’s an equal and opposite reaction, and Endless Boogie’s rising star is no exception. On one end there are bands like Vampire Weekend and MGMT singing about glimmering youth, and on the other there’s Endless Boogie, a band whose songs sound like they come from a gutter—albeit a gutter that knows its influences—and hark back to a time when the Bowery was a street-level vomitorium. The band plays noisy blues-rock akin to fellow Brooklyn band Cheeseburger, but while Cheeseburger is all about the endless hooks, Endless Boogie prefers endless grit.
