Escort

Escort plays live disco of a kind that used to burble and sashay in New York everywhere. That was way back in the '70s and '80s, of course, but there's always time for revisitations of funky cowbells. Escort is the kind of live band that, for a past 12-inch single release, got a remix from Metro Area’s Darshan Jesrani and also did up “a 118 BPM edit for peak-hour play.” All of which is to say that Escort knows what it takes to make people dance.
