Everything Is Terrible!

Nobody wants to see Angela Lansbury masturbate in a tub. But the folks behind the blog Everything Is Terrible! have done well showing exactly that. Since December 2007, its members have posted the strangest, most mind-bending and disturbing footage imaginable (the site sharply describes itself as Tim And Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!—but real) on an almost-daily basis. This simple premise has yielded some unexpected results: The site wove together snippets into a semi-coherent story for a 2009 feature-length DVD, and its sequel, 2Everything2Terrible2: Tokyo Drift. The site’s latest project is DoggieWoggiez! Poochie Woochiez!, a re-make of Alejandro Jodorowsky’s 1973 cult classic The Holy Mountain, using only dog-related found footage. Accordingly, the EIT! folks are touring in full-body mascot costumes, and promise “a psychedelic live show experience that cannot be rivaled.”
