Evol Intent
Not to be confused with the business plan for Boulder-based Evol Burritos, Evol Intent is a drum and bass trio made of Knick, Gigantor, and the Enemy. Songs like “Maybe We’ll Dance Tomorrow” helps to blur the lines between Flux Pavilion’s “Bass Cannon” and Baz Luhrmann’s “Everybody’s Free (To Wear Sunscreen).” This year’s Cruise Control EP includes a brilliantly placed quote from Tropic Thunder. (You’ll just have to listen to find out which one.)
