Artist Fake Blood

Electro/house DJ Fake Blood’s identity was a closely guarded secret for several years before a 2009 interview revealed it to be Theo Keating, better known as established house DJ and producer Touché. The secrecy was intended to separate Fake Blood’s hard-thumping remix style from Keating’s numerous other projects—like electro-pop duo The Black Ghosts and big-beat hip-hop act The Wise Guys—but it was obvious the UK DJ was no stranger to the international dance scene. As Fake Blood, Keating still shies away from the press, but his brutality behind the decks is hard to miss, with grimy remixes of The Kills and Miike Snow’s work among his repertoire.
