Fall Out Boy
Somewhere along the way, Fall Out Boy has become the new-era emo band that it’s okay to like, even for those who can’t stomach more than five minutes of bassist Pete Wentz’s embarrassing Friday-night show on MTV. After paying its dues with a pair of indie records and tons of shows, FOB blew up in 2005 with From Under The Cork Tree, led by ubiquitous single “Sugar, We’re Goin Down,” and its good fortunes continued a couple of years later with Infinity On High. Now the band is supporting 2008’s Folie À Deux.
