Fool's Gold
Fool's Gold roots its sound in the contentedly jittering guitars and percussion of highlife and other African musical traditions, but also incorporating plenty of Middle Eastern flavor, mainly thanks to Luke Top's Hebrew-language vocals. Based in L.A., the band captures a credibly warm, international sound on its recent self-titled album.
