Artist Forever The Sickest Kids

  • Forever The Sickest Kids

Polished pop-punk will never go out of style among lovestruck 14-year-olds who just want to have a good time. Dallas’ Forever The Sickest Kids almost introduced a dose of delayed gratification to their fans’ all-sugar diet with its “concept EP” trilogy,The Weekend, but while working on the second part of that series, the band figured it had enough strong, worthwhile material to make a full-on LP. The self-titled follow-up to 2008’s Underdog Alma Mater is more guilty-pleasure bubble-punk, which—a few regrettable experiments in electronica aside—has enough diary-ripping heartbreak and sing-along-ready “na na na”s to snare a whole new set of adolescent followers.
