Frontier Ruckus
Frontier Ruckus certainly does kick up a lot of dust, with daredevil banjo and blaring brass, but the general mood on the band’s second full-length Deadmalls & Nightfalls seems to be more about the slow comedown. This seems to suit singer Matthew Milia just fine, whose plain-spoken, Woodie Guthrie-style folklore creaks and cracks along with the solidly strummed guitars.
